Another brilliant little baby book in the indestructibles series。 The highlight for this one is the ability to 'play along' by making the various faces together while reading, including an opportune moment for lots of kisses。 Cute and delightful and, as advertised, indestructible。 Another brilliant little baby book in the indestructibles series。 The highlight for this one is the ability to 'play along' by making the various faces together while reading, including an opportune moment for lots of kisses。 Cute and delightful and, as advertised, indestructible。 。。。more

Indestructibles live up to their promise, and they get 5-stars from me for that alone。 Both kids loved them。 Baby Faces is super cute。

Simple stuff and really lovely。 Engaging illustrations and the indestructible nature of the book means an 18-month-old can have the autonomy (and the joy) of learning to turn the page and read。 Eadie recognizes all of the images now and and does little actions or words for each。

I read this for the Book Babies storytime on September 18。 The youngest was 8 months old, and the oldest was 18 months old。 I love the Indestructibles series because they're nontoxic, chew-proof, and rip-proof! I can't even tear them apart (I've tried)。 And when you're done with them, you can stick them in the dishwasher to clean them (I just washed them by hand since we were in the library)。 They are literally indestructible! We did this as a choral reader, so each parent/caregiver had a copy to share with their children。 While babies were in their grown-ups' laps, we went through and read the single word pages together: the book features words like "hurray" and "boo-hoo" and other emotions。 I asked open-ended questions like "How do you think the baby feels?" The 18-month old is starting to sign a few words and is able to respond, which was great to see! At the "yum-yum" page, I asked, "What is happening here?" And the 18-month old signed "eat!" Since repetition is super important for children's brain development, we will be doing this one again next Tuesday! 。。。more

Simple with colorful illustrations。 Good way for young children to learn how to express emotions, and touches on opposites。 Love the material -- it truly is indestructible。

I really love the idea of these indestructible books。 These are the kinds of things you wish for when your baby is tiny and destroying every book with their hands and mouth。 Totally brilliant。 Perfect for chewing and spills and rips。 Baby faces is a very simple book with minimal words but full pages of pictures perfect for a little one。

Great for little hands。 As each page only has one word and we've read this book so many times now, my 2 year old feels like she's reading because she's memorized what the pages all say and is quite proud of herself。 Cute pictures。 Great for little hands。 As each page only has one word and we've read this book so many times now, my 2 year old feels like she's reading because she's memorized what the pages all say and is quite proud of herself。 Cute pictures。 。。。more

All tiny babies need at least one of these for chewing in that phase where paper looks delicious but grownups won't let you eat it。 All tiny babies need at least one of these for chewing in that phase where paper looks delicious but grownups won't let you eat it。 。。。more

Finally, a book my six-month-old son can sink his teeth into! Literally! The book is made for babies to chew on it。 The illustrations are colorful too。

On the whole I liked this book。 It is a perfect starter book for a baby still getting used to holding a book and who is still exploring facial expressions。 It also remains a good book for toddlers learning to identify, name, and express emotions when an adult can help direct and encourage them to make those connections。 My only comment is that I sort of wish the words labelled an actual emotion。

This book is very cute, and clever。 The pictures of the baby faces though out almost take up the whole entire page, and are the main source of illistration within the book。 This book is cute because some of the babies are brushing their teeth, sleeping, or laying with their favorite stuffed animal。 You could easily engage a child by asking what face they make when they are doing those things, or which one is their favorite。 This book is silly, and any child would enjoy looking threw this book。
